Ayer termine de poner el suelo en mi invernadero
Yesterday I finished the floor for my greenhouse

                                     

 Con unos abalorios he hecho una lampara de techo que pondre en el centro (solamente queda conectarla)

 With some beads I made a lamp that I will put in the center (I must only connect it)

Tambien pense que una mesa con algunos sobres de semillas y un semillero le daria realismo. Y dicho y hecho... aqui esta

I also tought that a table with some sachets of seeds and a seed box would be good for the scene, and sure enough... here it is

        

Y tampoco me he quedado con las ganas de hacer un rosal, con cuyo resultado estoy bastante contenta...

and I wanted to make a rosetree... I am very satisfied with the result.

Y por último, pero no lo último, Ángel, mi marido, me ha hecho un enrejado para la puerta, que me encanta... (Angel es un maestro con el soldador, y yo solo una aprendiza comparada con el).

And last, but not least, Angel, my husband, made for me a grille for the door, which I love... (Angel is a master with the solder iron, and I am only an apprentice compared with him)

Casi siempre me da un poco de pena cuando estoy a punto de acabar un proyecto (es como cuando estas terminando un libro que te gusta), y a este ya le queda poco...

It makes me a little bit sad when I am about to finish a project (it is like when you are finishing a book very interesting), and the final of this is near...

Estanteria terminada/ Pot holder finished

Hoy termine la estanteria para mi invernadero que empece hace unos dias ...
Today I finished the pot holder that I began some days ago...

... y tambien hice unas herramientas, una caja para trastos y pinte algunos tiestos. La rosa es mi primer intento con porcelana fria,aunque debo mejorar la receta ya que resulta un poco pegajosa y no puedo trabajarla bien.

... I made some tools as well, a fruit box for stuff, and I painted some pots. The rose is my first attemp at cold porcelain, but I must  improve the recipe because it is a bit sticky and I can't work very well with it.

El suelo y la iluminacion seran lo proximo.
The next step will be the floor and the ilumination.

Mi nuevo proyecto/My new project

Siempre me han gustado mucho esas pequeñas latas con una planta de fresas, que a veces he visto en Internet. Yo creo que eso, unido a las ganas que tengo de que llegue ya la primavera, ha hecho que mi proximo proyecto vaya a ser un pequeño invernadero. Sin demasiado orden en él, de aspecto descuidado, y quizas un poco envejecido por el paso del tiempo...

I like very much those little tins with a strawberries plant that sometimes I have seen on the net. I think this is what, in addition to my wishes for the spring arrival, has done that my next project is going to be a little greenhouse. Without too much order in it,  a bit neglected, and aged for the passage of time...

  He hecho la latita, que mide 1,2 cm., de una plancha de estaño, a la que he añadido un imprimible. La planta esta realizada con fimo, papel y alambre.

I have made this little tin, which mesures 1,2 cm. high, of a pewter sheet to which I glued a printable. The plant is made with fimo, paper and wire. 

El "envoltorio" sera un farol que tenia por casa (ya se que no es muy original, pero bueno...)

The "wrapping" will be a lantern that I had at home ( I know that's not very original, but...)

Una atareada cocina/A busy kitchen

¡¡¡Cuanto tiempo sin poder actualizar mi blog: 4 semanas!!! Muchas obligaciones en la vida real, y poco tiempo libre para hobbies... (seguro que no soy la única, ¿verdad?...)

Quizas lo logico seria postear con una imagen relativa a San Valentin, pero como la blogosfera ya esta muy llena de corazones, flores, y "love", me voy a decidir por otro tema: una pequeña escena de cocina, de 25*25*3 cm, que hice algun tiempo atras, y que forma parte de una pequeña coleccion de otras cuatro.

It's been a long time without updating my blog: 4 weeks!!! Many obligations in real life, and very little spare time for hobbies... (I am sure I'm not the only one, am I?...)

May be the logical thing would be update with a pic related to sweet St Valentine, but the blogsphere is so filled with hearts, flowers and love, that I have decided to choose another topic: a little kitchen roombox (25*25*3 cm).

I did it sometime ago, and it is part of a little collection of another four kitchen roomboxes.

Un guiso calentito/A hot stew

En estos dias de tanto frio, y despues de toda la mañana jugando con la nieve (hoy mis hijos no han ido al cole), nada apetece mas que un guiso para calentarnos y recuperar fuerzas.

In these days so cold, and after all the morning playing with the snow (my children haven't gone to school today), there isn't anything more pleasant than a stew to warm up us and to get one's strength back.

Galletitas/Little cookies

En estas Navidades no he tenido demasiado tiempo para dedicarle a las minis, y la verdad es que lo echaba de menos... Asi es que esta mañana "he aparcado" todo lo demás, y me he permitido un rato de relax, que ha dado como resultado un pequeño surtido de galletitas de Navidad, que como mis hijos dicen: ¡ojalá fueran de verdad...!

In these Holidays I haven´t had a lot of time to making minis, and I have missed it. So this morming I set aside the rest and I allowed myself a break. The result has been some delicious and little Christmas cookies (as my children say: May they were edible!!)

Navidad/ Christmas

¿Donde se ha ido el tiempo? En estos días, y, casi sin darnos cuenta, todos hablamos ya de regalos, cenas de Navidad y fiesta...  En fin..., otra vez nuevos proyectos, buenos propositos y bolsillos vacios..., jaja ¡¡y el ciclo comienza de nuevo!!

Esta escena, que, por cierto llevamos para decorar nuestra mesa a la Tom Bishop del mes de Noviembre pasado, es una pequeña contribucion a la Navidad en mini. Casi toda está realizada con materiales reciclados.

Where has the time gone?  In these days, and, almost without realizing we are all speaking about gifts, Christmas dinners and holiday... Well...,once again new projects, good intentions and empty pockets ..., lol ¡¡and the cycle begins again!! 
This scene, that we take to decorate our table at Tom Bishop's fair the last November, is our little participation in  mini Christmas. Almost all  is made with recycled materials.

La fachada esta hecha con trozos de carton de los envases de huevos, así como el paseo hasta la casa, pegados y posteriormente coloreados. La corona de la puerta es un pendiente.

The facade is made of tray chunks, and the way to the house too, glued and coloured after. The wreath of the door is an earring.

El muñeco de nieve lo realizamos con algodon, carton, Fimo y un trocito de tela para la bufanda. La farola esta integramente hecha de madera y carton.

We made the snowman with cotton, cardboard, Fimo, and a bit of fabric for the scarf. The streetlight is made entirely of wood and cardboard.

La niña formaba parte de un llavero comprado en las tiendas multiprecio, a quien quitamos su "maravilloso vestido de volantes", e hicimos un abrigo y un gorro. El perrito es de los huevos Kinder (¡ay que ver el juego que dan estos huevos..!)

The girl was part of a keychain that we found in a "euro store". We took its 'flounced skirt' off, and we made it a coat and a cap. The little dog is a toy from a Kinder chocolate egg.

Los matorrales y plantas son de un popurri de flores secas.

The bushes and plants are from a potpourri of dry flowers.

La pala esta recortada de un diskette de ordenador, y despues le añadimos un palito redondo.

The  spade was cut from a computer diskette, and after we glued it a small round stick.

En fin..., en tiempos de crisis ¡ IMAGINACION SIN LIMITES!

Well..., in crisis time  IMAGINATION  LIMITLESS!

Feria Tom Bishop/Tom Bishop's Show

Bueno..., la Feria de Tom Bishop llego y paso, y la experiencia ha sido tan buena...

Solo podemos dar un GRACIAS muy grande a los expositores que nos acogieron tan bien y ayudaron tanto (no los nombro porque seguro que olvidare a alguien), a las ya amigas que vinieron a saludarnos a nuestra mesa, a las que compraron algo, y a las que solo miraron;  en definitiva a todas las estupendas personas que hicieron que esta nuestra primera Feria fuera tan agradable.

La primera..., porque estamos seguros de que no será la última.

¡¡¡¡GRACIAS A TODOS!!!


Well..., Tom Bishop's Show came and went by, and the experience have been so good...

We just want to say a big THANKS to all of the exhibitors who received us so well and help us so much (I don't write their names because I will forget someone, sure), to all of the friends who came to say hi, to all of the customers who brought something, to all of those who just watched, and in short to all of the wonderful people who have made that this our first show as exhibitors have been so pleasant...

The first... because we are sure  it wont't the last.

Aromaticas naranjas/Aromatic oranges

Tan buenas para comer sencillamente peladas, o para aromatizar cualquier postre, ¡creo que siempre son frescas y deliciosas...!

Oranges are so good...!! Simply peeled or enhancing any dessert, I think they are always fresh and delicious!!

Antiguamente eran solo fruta de invierno, pero afortunadamente ahora las podemos encontrar en el mercado en cualquier epoca del año.

In the past they were only  winter fruit, but now, fortunately, we can find them at markets in any season of the year.

Son una gran fuente de vitamina C, asi es que ¡¡comamos naranjas!!
They are a great source of vitamine C, so let's eat oranges!!
