Tiempo de Feria /It's Show time

La cuenta atras casi ha comenzado para la feria de Tom Bishop, que como sabeis se celebrara el fin de semana del 12 y 13 de Noviembre, en el Hotel Novotel Center, de Madrid, y a la que asisteremos como expositores.

Eso quiere decir que ya vamos un poquito de cabeza remantando trabajos, y dando tambien los últimos toques a otra nueva escena de cocina que hemos creado y que podreis ver en nuesta mesa...

Os esperamos!!

The countdown begun for the Tom Bishop Show, that will be celebrated on November, 12th and 13th at Madrid, and to which we will attend as dealers.

So, at this time we are already finished some of our works, and we are giving finishing touches aswell to our last kitchen roombox, which will be showed on our table... 

Gran "finde"/Great weekend

 Charlar practicamente solo de miniaturas durante dos días, disfrutando una barbaridad, podría ser el resumen de este intenso fin de semana de Feria en Madrid.

Como siempre fue estupendo reencontrarnos con viejos amigos, y hacer otros nuevos. Estupenda fue tambien la oportunidad, un año mas, de ver de cerca el trabajo de grandes artesanos llenos de tanta creatividad y buen hacer: algo que no tiene precio.

Como en otras ocasiones, tuvimos la gran ayuda de nuestra hija Beatriz, tan encantadora, a la que me apetecía mencionar en esta entrada de una forma muy especial.

¡¡¡¡Mil gracias a todos!!!!! 

  Talking about miniatures whitout a break for two days, enyoing a lot, could be in short the events that look place this intense weekend at the Madrid Fair.

One more time, was great to meet up with old friends again, and to meet other news too. It was awesome to see close up the good artisans' work, full of creativity and good deeds. 

I'd like to mention in this post the great help that our daugther Beatriz gave us, so pretty and lovely as always.

Algunas novedades.../Some news...

Aqui estamos, una vez mas, a punto de empaquetar todo para la feria de minis que este fin de semana se celebra en Madrid (¡ya me apecete un monton...!)

Os enseño nuevos trabajos que hemos realizado para esta edicion, aunque en nuestra mesa habrá alguno más, seguro!!!

¡Que gran Feria! What a great Fair!

El fin de semana paso tan rapido como habia ocurrido con las semanas previas a la Feria, y esta vez no tuve ocasion de hacer ninguna foto a las mesas de los restantes expositores de la Bishop (mi camara decidio que no trabajaba sin pilas...)

Os dejo la unica instantanea que tengo de nuestra mesa, y que gentilmente me ha cedido una clienta (¡que haria yo sin ti, Cristina!).

The weekend went by as quickly as had happened with the previous weeks, and this time I am not able to take pictures to the other Bishop's Fair exhibitors (my camera didn't accept working without battery...)

I show you the one pic I have of my table (a lovely customer of mine gave me it).

Una feria mas/Another fair

Como ya sabeis este fin de semana se celebro la XV edicion  de la Feria de Tom Bishop en Madrid, a la que asistimos como expositores.

Os dejo unas fotos de nuestra mesa en la que aparece Beatriz, nuestra hija (que por cierto, hoy cumple 14 años), y que nos fue de gran ayuda ¡¡Gracias cariño, y MUCHAS FELICIDADES!!
As you know the XV edition of the Tom Bishop's Show took place this weekend in Madrid,  and we attended as dealers.
I show you some pictures of our table. The lovely teeneger you can see  is our daugther Beatriz, who helped us during the fair (by de way, she is 14 today). Thank you very much, darling, and HAPPY BIRTDHAY TO YOU!!!

Despues de un largo fin de semana y ya vacias las mesas, volvemos a casa algo cansados pero satisfechos. ¡Hasta la proxima! 
After a long weekend, with all the tables already empty, we come back home tired but satisfied. Until next time!!! 

Una buena feria/A good fair

Sin duda esta ha sido una buena feria para nosotros. Aunque el domingo el tiempo en Madrid fue horrible (estuvo lloviendo todo el dia), y quizas debido a esto hubo menos afluencia de publico, durante todo el sabado la feria estuvo muy animada. Nos encanto volver a ver a expositores de ediciones anteriores, y a tantos amigos que pasaron a saludarnos.

No doubt we had a good time this weekend. Even though the weather on Sunday was horrible in Madrid (it rained all the day), and perhaps because of it the fair this day was a bit quiet, however during all Saturday the show was very lively. We were delighted seeing and  speaking to the exhibitors of previous editions, and as well greeting to many friends who went up to say hello.
